Have you ever eaten Motsu(giblets) of chicken ?

I love it.

In Japan, sometimes it is eaten as a Yakitori,

but a stewed Motsu with Miso* is more popular.

*Miso = a fermented soybean paste, one of the general seasonings in Japan

Japanese stew of giblets with vegetables

The ingredients is different from each restaurant and house.

This stewed Motsu is including carrot, japanese white radish(Daikon), burdock*, onion, Kon-nyaku* and Motsu.

*burdock = one of the root crop rich in dietary fiber

*Kon-nyaku = a gelatinous food made from devil's-tongue starch

It is interesting to try to eat various stews of Motsu at various restaurants in Japan.
